My boyfriend and I love it here! We go here all the time:) The cats are adorable, employees are knowledgeable about the individual cats and their personalities, the coffee is cheap and so good, and it’s just a really nice place in general. Absolutely worth the money!
What a gem! This cat cafe in Windsor is a delightful find. The staff here are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. The bar offers an impressive selection of beverages from tea to coffee, juice to lemonades—both hot and cold options available! And don't even get me started on the delicious cakes they serve. The store itself is a treasure trove. From cute gifts to affordable prices, you'll easily find something special to take home. The affordability is a huge plus, and I truly hope it helps them thrive and stay open for years to come. As the only cat cafe in Windsor and beyond for miles, it's a haven for cat lovers. Here's to the success of this wonderful place, and may they continue to care for more stray cats in the future. Highly recommended!
I went there a couple weeks ago with a friend in the early afternoon. The shop area was nice and cute. Lots of cat themed items you could buy as well as basic food and drink. To play with the cats, there's an entry fee with 30 min. increments. You go back through 2 doors (no shoes, wear socks or you'll have to buy socks) and there's a couple different rooms with a total of 5 cats. Some of the younger cats like to play but most of the cats just chill. And yeah there were a couple kids w/ parents and it could get crowded and a little loud; it irked my friend a bit but personally it didn't bother me. They left after a bit anyways. Neither me or my friend owned pets so we really enjoyed the experience. I would pay $10 to hang with the cats again; which I did come again with 2 different friends and paid their entry fee as well. The lineups of cats change since they get adopted, so it's nice to meet the new ones. Pictures: Bonk (adopted), Fish, Toddy, Mouse (adopted), Ivy, Aspen, enamel pins from shop
Finally got a chance to pop by yesterday and WOW, these guys have done an amazing job! From the cute little cafe/gift shop at the front to the "in between" room for coats and shoes - this is huge so thank you for considering this! - and I was pleasantly surprised to see there are quite a few little rooms for the kitties and not just one big room like those I've been to in other cities. Everything was incredibly spotless, even the litter boxes! and it didn't smell "catty" in the least (also been to a kitty cafe where it was and it was not a great experience). This is a wonderful quiet spot where you can sit and read, although I hear weekends are far busier so I would suggest going during the week if you are looking for a quieter time. All in all, very very impressed with this cafe - bravo!!
Had such a great time visiting Yay For Strays! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The cats are well taken care of and you can tell how much love Chantelle has for the cats in her care! Would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely be back!
The cappuccino and gift shop were great . The kitty lounge area was purr-fect! There were books galore and adorable fuzzy kitties.
Such a great place to visit! Spent time with the cats in the lounge ($10/hr) and purchased a beverage as well. The cafe works with getting the cats adopted and is a great way to do business. Had a blast and will definitely be back again!
I had been waiting for the grand opening for a little bit now, and can happily say the cafe did not disappoint! The food and drinks were amazing, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. The merchandise (all very cat themed) was super awesome, and the cats and the cat part of the cafe was incredible! Very well put together, clean, and comfortable. and the cats were so very adorable and friendly. They each had a profile pamphlet where you could learn about them and inquire about adopting! There were plenty of books, games and activities to do while hanging out with the cats which is awesome! 11/10 will definitely be returning!!
